GREENWOOD at Theatre East’s 5×5 Drama Series

My play GREENWOOD starts performances April 6 as part of Theatre East’s 5×5 Drama Series. The production travels to each of New York City’s five boroughs, running through April 17th.

PEOPLE OF THE BOOK production in Westchester and at Theatre for the New City

Stage Love Theater is producing my play PEOPLE OF THE BOOK, with performances in New Rochelle on April 1st and 2nd, and, for one night only, at Theatre for the New City on April 4th at 7 pm. Directed by Susan Einhorn, the cast includes Shelley Fort, David Little and Carol Rosenfeld.

THE WORKING THEATRE presents workshop of ALTERNATING CURRENTS

On December 15th at 6:30, The Working Theatre will present a workshop of ALTERNATING CURRENTS, directed by Tamilla Woodard. Commissioned as part of their Five Boroughs/One City Project, the workshop will be presented in New Georges’ The Room, 520 Eighth Avenue, 3rd Floor.

BEST AMERICAN SHORT PLAYS publishes THE SUBTERRANEANS

Commissioned and produced by the Stella Adler Studio, THE SUBTERRANEANS has been published in Applause Books’ THE BEST AMERICAN SHORT PLAYS 2014-15.

STELLA ADLER STUDIO production of KISSING COUSINS

Commissioned by the Stella Adler Studio, and written specifically for company members of the Advanced Teen Program, my play KISSING COUSINS will be performed on August 11th and 12th.

Workshop reading of IN LOCO PARENTIS at ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE

On June 28 at 3 pm, Ensemble Studio Theatre presents a reading of IN LOCO PARENTIS.  Directed by Sarna Lapine, the cast includes Ronete Levenson, Jared McGuire, Shelley Fort, Charise Greene, Richmond Hoxie, and Benjamin Wheelwright.  

Working Theatre’s FIVE BOROUGHS, ONE CITY

Part of The Working Theatre’s FIVE BOROUGHS/ONE CITY project, ALTERNATING CURRENTS is directed by Gaye-Taylor Upchurch, and features Michael Braun, Rheume Crenshaw, Abigail Gampel, Clinton Lowe, Desiree Matthews, and Joe Urla. BOGLIASCO FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIP

I’ve been awarded a Fellowship from The Bogliasco Foundation in Bogliasco, Italy, where I’ll be in residence this Fall working on a new play.
