Adam Kraar writes plays about cross-cultural clashes and connections, including works about American families in Asia, the Civil Rights Movement, and quixotic rebels who challenge societal boundaries. His work has been produced Off-Broadway, off-off-Broadway and regionally across the country. Adam’s plays include ALTERNATING CURRENTS (The Working Theatre); WILD TERRAIN (EST Marathon of One-Act Plays), EMPIRE OF THE TREES (NY Innovative Theatre Awards nominee, Outstanding New Script); NEW WORLD RHAPSODY (Manhattan Theatre Club Commission); DANCING ON THE EDGE (Southern Theatre in Minneapolis); and DON’T LOOK BACK (Voyage Theatre Company).
