DIVO AND DIAVOLO:  A TALE OF TWO TENORS is the true story of David Tucker’s roller-coaster relationship with his father, the world-famous tenor Richard Tucker.  David chases dreams of operatic glory, but Richard – son of poor Jewish immigrants, who never got beyond the 8th grade – cajoles, bullies and bribes his son to study medicine.  David’s stubborn pursuit of stardom leads to outlandish singing sessions, med school mania, and mishaps with sultry sopranos.  DIVO AND DIAVOLO is about an unstoppable son and his bull-headed father, as they do their imperfect best to love each other.
